Citizens for a Safe Golden Gate Bridge / Golden Gate Suicide Barrier Coalition / Public Safety Deterrent System

This official Web Site is Dedicated
to help in the Installation
Process for a
"PUBLIC SAFETY HANDRAIL"

It has been blessing that no-one has fallen from the bridge sidewalk into the on-coming traffic. We feel that it's time has come to justify this danger's position that the public faces everyday. We all know that the Golden Gate Bridge draws people to the bridge like a big magnet.

Proposed Public Safety Railing
(Project Over View)

Couldn't you see how easy it would be for a pedestrian or bicyclist to fall into the lanes of moving traffic This photograph was released by
the Golden Gate Bridge District, showing that it can be done, and will save anyone from falling into the lanes off traffic, and save lives...
